1. How Do I Submit a Question or Community Concern?
For all questions, concerns, maintenance issues, architectural inquiries, or other matters related to the Round Mountain Reserve Community Foundation or HOA, please email HOA@RoundMountainReserve.com. Using this centralized email address ensures your request is properly documented, routed to the appropriate person or committee, and responded to as efficiently as possible. To help us serve you more effectively, please avoid sending HOA-related requests to individual board members or staff members directly, as doing so may delay a response.
2. How Do I Set Up My Property Address?
You must first establish a 911 address for your property, begin by completing the Blanco County Addressing application (see the PDF below in Section 7) and email it to Ty Walston at TWalston@co.blanco.tx.us. Once your application is processed, you will receive an official 911 Address Certificate.
Your specific property information needed to complete the application can be found by searching your name or property ID at www.blancoCAD.com
After receiving your certificate, take or send it to the Round Mountain USPS Substation, where they will establish mail delivery for your property. If your home is still under construction, the post office will hold your mail until you move in. Once you occupy the home, they will assign you a mailbox and provide you with a mailbox key.
Finally, you’ll need to pick up your blue 911 address placard from the addressing office in Blanco County. A small fee applies for the placard.

3. How Do I Submit an Architectural Review or Request a Change to an Approved Plan?
Any and all improvements, changes, and/or additions made to your property must be approved by the RMR Architectural Review Committee.
Please have your builder review the Architectural Review Process outlined in the Round Mountain Reserve Design & Building Guidelines (Section 6) before submitting your application. The guidelines explain the required documentation, review procedures, submission requirements, and approval process. You can review the Design & Building Guidelines by clicking the PDF link HERE or Download below.
All architectural review applications, revisions to approved plans, and requests for exterior improvements or additional structures should be submitted to HOA@RoundMountainReserve.com. To ensure a timely review, submissions received by the 15th of the month will receive comments or a decision prior to the 1st of the following month. Submissions received by the last day of the month will receive comments or a decision by the 15th of the following month.
*Important: Any and all changes to an approved architectural plan must receive prior approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) before work begins. This includes, but is not limited to, additional tree clearing, changes to the location or orientation of structures, modifications to exterior materials or finishes, revisions to driveways, entrances, utilities, or drainage, and any work proposed within required setbacks or the 100-foot buffer zone that was not included in the original approved plans. If you are uncertain whether a proposed change requires ARC approval, please contact HOA@RoundMountainReserve.com before proceeding. Obtaining approval in advance helps prevent delays, unnecessary expenses, or potential compliance issues.
4. Utility Services: How Do I Set Up or Manage My Utility Services?
While the infrastructure for fiber, electricity, and propane is run to each lot, Round Mountain Reserve does not establish, manage, or troubleshoot utility services for homeowners. Each homeowner is responsible for contacting the appropriate service provider directly to establish new service, transfer an account, report outages, schedule deliveries, or request maintenance. Below is the contact information for the utility providers serving the community.

5. How Does my Agricultural Tax Valuation Work?
One of the most common questions we receive is about the property’s “tax exemption.” Technically, this is not a tax exemption, but rather an agricultural tax valuation (1-d-1 Open Space Valuation) that allows qualifying undeveloped acreage to be taxed at a significant deduction based on its agricultural use instead of its market value.
At closing, each property owner designates the Round Mountain Reserve Community Foundation as their agent for agricultural tax purposes. The Community Foundation submits the required 1-d-1 agricultural valuation application, along with the perpetual grazing lease for the community’s blackbuck antelope program, to the Blanco County Appraisal District. This helps ensure your property’s agricultural valuation remains in place.
You can verify your property’s valuation at any time by visiting the Blanco County Appraisal District website at www.blancocad.com and searching for your property.
*Important Notes About County Mailings: From time to time, the Blanco County Appraisal District may send automated notices to property owners. These may include reminders regarding wildlife management plans, requests for property valuation information, or surveys used to help determine school funding values. Many of these mailings are informational or voluntary and do not require any action.
If you receive a notice, please read it carefully before assuming additional paperwork is required. If anything appears unusual or you are unsure whether action is needed, please email Brandon@RoundMountainReserve.com or contact the Blanco County Appraisal District directly for clarification.
While no administrative system is perfect, the required agricultural valuation paperwork is routinely submitted on behalf of our property owners. In the rare event that an issue arises, it can typically be resolved quickly through the Community Foundation or the Appraisal District.
6. How Do I Get an Additional Gate Remote or Access?
*Important: Universal remotes WILL NOT WORK. This includes standard Security+ 2.0 garage door remotes. Most universal or third-party remotes use different frequencies and security protocols than our gate system.
Round Mountain Reserve uses the MyQ Community access control system for all resident gate access. To purchase an additional remote, you must obtain a Chamberlain Passport Plus remote, which is the model compatible with our MyQ Community gate system. Although it is commonly recognized as the gray remote with the black button, the key requirement is that it is the Passport Plus model.
Once you receive your remote, locate the five-digit ID number printed on the back and email it to Brandon@RoundMountainReserve.com. Your remote will then be programmed and activated for your property.
We also recommend downloading the MyQ Community app to your smartphone. The app allows you to conveniently manage your gate access, receive visitor notifications, and create temporary or recurring access credentials for family members, guests, contractors, and service providers—all without needing additional remotes.
*Where to Purchase: The Chamberlain Passport Plus remote is available through Chamberlain/LiftMaster authorized dealers and select online retailers. Before purchasing, verify that the remote is specifically identified as the Passport Plus model, as standard Chamberlain/LiftMaster garage door remotes and universal remotes are not compatible with the Round Mountain Reserve gate system.
